Amazing 11 year old athlete

Time for a change

Baseball has really lost its popularity since the 1998 home run race between Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa. Their really struggling to get the ratings up and keep fans interested in the sport, espesically with the younger generation. With the change to the all star game and adding another wild card spot for the playoffs has but their still some ways away. In my opinion they need to reduce the 162 game season to about 125 games, that would make the division races really interesting because that means games would matter a lot sooner than it does now. Also, with young and exciting players like Bryce Harper with the Washington Nationals and Mike Trout with The Los Angeles Angels, that would bring the young audience back.

For all the real NBA fans!

The NBA is in good hands

I got my wish this year in the NBA finals, the best two players going head 2 head for the title. Thats something we never get in any major sport. This Lebron vs KD debate and battle is like our modern day Bird vs Magic debate. The Heat and Thunder could turn into a nice rivalry if both teams keep their teams together with the right pieces there. Just like there was a transition from Kobe to Lebron being the best player in the league, that will be the same thing with Lebron to KD. Everybody goes through those growing pains before they become the best and win championships. Im excited to see how Lebron will respond next season after winning his first championship and how KD will approach this year also. Will he use the heartache of losing the finals as motivation to get even better.

Everything isn't Rose"Y" in Chicago

To me the Bulls have been set back 2-3 years since Rose went down with the ACL injury and the big contracts they have on their books.  There's Rose and a bunch of B- players around him and it showed in the last two years of the playoffs. Everyone believes that the Bulls are good to go because they have  "THE BENCH MOB".  That's all fine and dandy for the regular season but not to win a championship. In the NBA you need stars and play makers to win a championship and you only need your role players to step in about 2-4 games in a playoff run. This was shown in the Spurs vs OKC series as well as the Miami vs OKC finals. With that being said, I'm really torn on what I think the Bulls should do this year. Usually draft picks don't matter after those first 10 picks.  I'm not saying the Bulls should tank the season, but they should want to get a top 10 pick or something.  Maybe get lucky like they did in 2008 and end up with another Rose. On the other side,  I'm not a fan of teams tanking a season to get a high draft pick, but at the same time they don't have any money to really do anything in this years free agency class.  Their best bet is to amnesty Boozer next season to free up some space, find a team or two  to make a 3-team trade with Deng involved. Another idea would be to find some consistent shooters. The best thing they have going for them is that their best player is only 23 years old.  Considering that, they have some time to figure this out but have to be smart about it.  Don't go sign anyone to bad contracts that will have them strapped like they are at this point. All they need is one star/playmaker beside Rose and some players who know their roles. Get this together and in my opinion the Bulls will be good to go! Remember only a handfull of NBA stars win a championship before 25, so my panic meter is only at 3 right now.

Healthy Return

I'm glad to know Roy will be getting an opportunity to make a return to the NBA and to a young up and coming team in the West. I really wouldn't of made any sense for him to sign with the bulls for less money plus Rose and Deng wouldn't being playing for the most of the season. They would of been looking for him to do a lot coming off those knee problems. Signing with Minnesota is good look for him and good way for him to ease himself back in the league.

Aren't they worth the same

Zache Parise and Ryan Suter both wanted to play with each other and the both of them wanted the same contract. Thats what they wanted and thats what the Minnesota Wild gave them. Both of them landed 12 yr/$98 million contracts, which is really a front loaded contract. This sounds awesome and who wouldn't want that contract right? Well Deron Williams resign with the Brooklyn Nets with a contract of 5yr/$98 million. So what do you think? Are NBA players overpaid or is NHL players underpaid???

Nash a good fit for the Lakers?

Steve Nash going to the lakers is for sure an upgrade at the point guard position that the lakers hasn't had since the Nick Van Exel days and some people probably forgot about him also. With that said, Kobe has never really played with a player who is at their best when there controlling to the ball the whole time. People said Lebron and Wade wouldn't work but it did because they wanted a ring and more, so i think with time Nash and kobe will figure it out because their up there in age. Kobe wants that 6th ring and Nash wants his first. To me i still think they need another back up point because Steve blake isn't that guy to me. They will need some more shooters because Gasol and Bynum doesn't stretch the floor enough for Nash to be at his best, the clog the paint. If u have shooters who will stretch the floor and can't just stand in the paint. OKC is still the best team in the West no doubt but the Lakers is defiantly a better and it will be fun to watch!

Ryne Sandberg a Cardinal?????

It would be a slap in the face of the Chicago Cubs organization if Sandberg becomes the arch rival, St Louis Cardinals coach. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all because the Cubs has had plenty of chances of making him there coach or even a bench coach to get some experience in the big leagues. Even though it would be weird to see him in Cardinal red but I would be happy for him getting a head manager postition if he gets hired!
