Ryne Sandberg a Cardinal?????

It would be a slap in the face of the Chicago Cubs organization if Sandberg becomes the arch rival, St Louis Cardinals coach. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all because the Cubs has had plenty of chances of making him there coach or even a bench coach to get some experience in the big leagues. Even though it would be weird to see him in Cardinal red but I would be happy for him getting a head manager postition if he gets hired!

Week 9 match ups

1. Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans - First of all I think The Saints losing to the rams last week was a total fluke, Ok i got that out the way! Im going with New Orleans to win this game game because they're at home and i don't trust the Bucs all the time. The Bucs dont start off great and if they don't against the Saints, it will be a blowout before you know it. I know Blount is coming back this game and that will help but the receivers need to step up also. If Brees plays interception free football, the Saints will have a nice win!

2. Miami vs. Kansas City - Im going with the Chiefs with a big win. The way the Dolphins has lost the last two games has killed there as if there morale wasn't already shot. I don't think the Chiefs do anything special but I think Dolphins are just that bad!

3. Atlanta vs. Indianapolis - The Falcons are going to throw and run all over the Colts. I'm not saying there going to have a blow out win over them like the Saints did but the Colts can't defend the run or the pass. Plus the Falcons is getting back Julio Jones.

4. N.Y Jets vs. Buffalo - The Bills has been playing some really good football, especially since they have a bunch of 5th and 6th round draft pick players and there QB went to HARVARD but I hate to say it but I'm going with the Jets in this one. They Jets play a very confusing 3-4 defense and i believe it will frustrate Fitzpatrick enough for them to cause some turnovers. Im not a fan of there offense but I still believe they have a top defense and the best corner in the game right now and they will prove it on sunday.

5. Seattle vs. Dallas - The Cowboys has nice pieces on both sides of the ball but i don't think Romo is the answer anymore. I usually have is back but i can't anymore, he's somewhat like the NFL lebron...play great in the first 3 quarters but die out in the 4th! But i think they found there running back of the future in DeMarco murray. I dunno what to say about the Seahawks, they're not bad and they aren't bad. They compete but don't have the right QB either and not enough playmakers on defense to hang with the dallas offense. with an easy pick, Im going with the Cowboys in a bounce back game!

6. Cleveland vs. Houston - I think this would be a better matchup if Peyton Hillis was playing but he's not enough said. I like what Mike holmgren is building in Cleveland but im going with Schaub and that offense to blow out the Browns!

7. San Francisco vs. Washington - I think the 49ers is the one team people aren't talking about but i think they have the right coach for them and Alex smith might of found the system that works for him. They run the ball good enough with Gore, so the ball doesn't have to be in Smiths hands a lot. They are physical on both sides of the ball and they play with a edge. For the Redskins, Im a fan of there defense and they remind me of the Steelers D but that offense is terriable and i dont like ther scheme at all. 49ers with the win and go in to 7-1

8. Cincinnati vs. Tennessee - The Bengals are the biggest Surprise so far at the half way part of the season. They have great parts on both sides of the ball. The Red head bomber is running this offense pretty damn good and that Defense is being physical again but running the ball good again. The Titans has a problem running the ball big time but Javon Ringer is running the ball a lot better than Chris Johnson but the titans will still have running problems this week vs the Bengals. Bengals with the win this week

9. Denver vs. Oakland - RUN DMC probably won't be playing this sunday but they don't need him to beat the Tebow Broncos! The Raiders will do what everybody else did to him, play cover 0 and unload on him and see if he can make the right decision with the ball, which i don't think he will do. Also, Palmer may have a pretty good game more than some people think. The Raiders will blow the Broncos out by the end of the 3rd quarter!

10. N.Y Giants vs. New England - Even though I believe the Steelers has set up the blueprint on how to slow down Tom Brady and the Patriots, The Giants don't have the personnel to do so. They have an awesome front four to attack but the Patriots will kill them with short passes and march down the field. The Giants has a lot of key players will injuries and you don't want that vs the Patriots coming off a lost because I know the Hoodie is mad about last week lost. Patriots with the win but not big.

11. St Louis vs. Arizona - I don't think either team is that good but both have players they can build around but I'm going with the Rams with the win especially since Kevin Kolb has turf toe and its a good chance he doesn't play sunday.

12. Green Bay vs. San Diego - The chargers last week lost is going to haunt them and its too much on there brain to to try to slow down Arod and that offense. The Packers will get after Rivers all game and he's already leading the league in turnovers. Arod with another big game and the Packers move on to 8-0.

13. Chicago vs. Philadelphia - The Eagles seem like there getting there swag back and Vick looks like he's reading the offense like he's suppose to do but i still don't trust the Eagles. The Bears D will do what they do best and get after Vick and Forte will run all over the Eagles and get a close!!!

14. Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh - These games are the next big thing next to the Superbowl. Week 1 was a long time ago and the Steelers has found out who they are and seems like the Ravens Still trying to figure that out week to week. This game will come down to QB play and i believe Big Ben will pick the Ravens apart this week. For the ravens, theyre never on one accord...either the offense is playing good and D isnt' or vice versa. If they do that sunday, they will not leave heinz field with a victory but im still going with Pittsburgh with the win and not just because I'm a Steeler fan!!!!!

So earlier in the week when i heard the Colts was going to be using the franchise tag on Peyton Manning i was very confused about and i didnt understand it. I was thinking why won't they just get a long term deal done and get it out the way. I've had a change of heart about that when i heard that he will be getting 23 Million dollars for his one year franchise tag and then he will get his new deal. I think that works for anybody and any player....lol!

Europe huh???

Mr Kobe Bryant says if there is a NBA lockout for next season he would Consider going to Europe to play basketball. My only thing is, will he dominate the game europe if that really did happen? I think he will dominate certain parts of the game. His jump shot would have to money alot because they play alot of zone in Europe but he also would have to bring that A game all the time also because opposing players will bring theres at him all the time! But who knows, it may be another challenge for Kobe so he would just maybe dominate that league also! lol

Usually we woudn't be so excited about a team winning a game in the middle of Febuary but we are this time about the Cavs beating the LA Clippers. I know it has to suck to be the team to give the Cavs there first after a long losing streak of 26 straight games!!!!

Madden is 6-1 in the last 7 super bowls with there only lost being the Giants beating the Patriots in 2007. so lets see what happens Super Sunday!

RELAX...Its only Febuary

First of all, i thought the NBA playoffs started at the end of april through june if you make it to the finals, right...so why is everybody tripping about them being 34-15, oh yeah thats right there suppose to go out and beat the mess out of everybody night in and night out. I know they have some of issues of trying to figure went to let Kobe take over and when to get involved in the offense, Bynum being hurt but theres no surprise right there, and them having some old legs. Remember this is a team that doesn't need to have the number one seed or a two seed. They know how to win on the road in the playoffs. Im not saying there going to run through the playoffs but just count them because of them having some ups and downs at the beginning of Febuary. One thing is promise though, Kobe can't have one of those games he had in game 7 in the finals vs Boston last year or even a bad series period if they want to get another three peat!
