Saturday Night Live Mocks Stephen A. Smith

THIS IS EXTREMELY FUN AND YOU HAVE TO WATCH!!!!

Home Run Derby 2012

For those of you who didn't know, The Home run Derby was last night and some interesting things happen. Robinson Cano was captain for the AL squad and in the middle of pick his team he said he was going to pick the Royals DH Billy Butler and then he didn't and I don't think the KC fans didn't like that. So when he was batting they would boo him and then cheer when he didn't hit a home run. He ended up getting 0 home runs last night. I didn't mind the booing but it ended up being too. If felt like the fans still booing David Stern at the end of the 1st round of the NBA Draft. But I don't think the fans did anything wrong though.
Prince Fielders win his 2nd home run derby and is the 2nd player to win multiple home run derby's joining Ken Griffey Jr. Great class to be in I might add. A player like Fielder loves being in this competition and he knows this is time for baseballs fans who aren't big fans to see his power and he can put a great show for the fans. Me personally I don't like the home run derby but happy for Prince

Worth the money?

Today Blake Griffin agrees to a 5 yr/95 million contract extension and my first expression was WOW. Kevin Durant new contract was 5 yr/86 million. His Griffin worth more than KD, i think not! Don't get me wrong he's a very athletic player and can jump out of the gym but when ever at OU and now with the clippers has ever shown he will have good 15 foot jumper or doing anything else great, NEVER. He got the deal because he's no doubt a seat filler and he just might have a better numbers because he has CP3 as his point guard. I'm not disagreeing with the Clipppers resigning him but for that much, I dunno. I also can look at it this way, the Clippers probably had no choice because they wouldn't want him to hit free agency and have all these outrageous offers and then he leaves and go somewhere else. I just don't think he's in that LeBron, KD, Rose, DWill etc pay range. Franchises always make bad deals and then the team is looking crazy at the end of the day.

Is "loyalty" and "traitor" thrown around too much?

Ever since Ray Allen decided to go to Miami as a free agent i might add, he's gotten a lot slack about. He's been called a traitor all over the place in the NBA universe. I've been listening and thinking about the comments about him and i don't think people realize he did nothing at all. First of all the Heat aren't a rivalry to the Celtics, their just a team that has beaten them last two years in the playoffs. Rivalry is Lakers vs Celtics or Bulls vs Knicks. Hating the Miami Heat is just the now thing to hate as of now and that will change in the next couple of years anyway. Allen wasn't drafted or came to Boston as a free agent, he was traded from Seattle to Boston and guess what he gave them 4 years, 2 finals appearance, and 1 title. So, people are asking "wheres the loyalty?" What loyalty? The Celtics weren't loyal with him either, they tried trading him the last two years, lost his starting spot, and they went and signed Jason Terry. Loyalty goes both ways but guess what this is a business. He has all the right to go play with the one of the best players in the league, for less money, and a chance for another ring at the age of 36. As fans we get so caught up on the word loyalty but forget this a business and when you're a a free agent, you can do anything you want to do whats best for you. You can't make everybody happen when making those decisions in your life.

All-time NBA Team

PG - Magic Johnson would be my point because of his unselfishness and willing run all the time. I don't think he's great at one thing but he does everything so good and that makes him great. Being a 6'8 is a huge advantage, so he can pass and see over his defender.

SG - Without a doubt Jordan is my sg. i don't need any explanation for this part at all...NEXT

SF - Their isn't a lot of choices for the position but I'm going with Pippen. I can put him on there best defender and he will shut them down. He's the quickest and fastest but he's long and know how to move his feet, he knows where the defender is going before they do.

PF - A lot of people would have Tim Duncan or KG as their Pf but mine is Sir Charles. He talk mess, back it up, and then dunk you. Then talk more mess to you lol. Being a under size for this position is a advantage for him also. Oh yea, he doesn't back down from nobody and you need some body like that on your squad.

C - Man this was a tough decision but I'm going with "THE DREAM"! This man had moves for days and he could run the court well. He would fit right in with Magic running the run and gun offense. He will do everything you want your center to do.

6th man - You can pick anybody as your 6th man. It doesn't just have to be somebody who really was a bench player. With that said I'm going with LeBron James. I can hear y'all now, why not bird or kobe or something like. Lebron is my 6th man because he can come for any position and do whatever he needs to do. He can score, pass, play D on any position on the court. He's basically a point power forward.

Head Coach - Phil Jackson because he will get egos to work together so they can get to one goal and thats to win the title period. The Zin Master knows what he's doing and he's proven that time and time again. I know some people knock him because they think he only coach teams with stars. Only coach i know who didn't have that many stars was Coach Pop.

The Dream Team Documentary

I keep finding out that some people still haven't seen this documentary at all. So it goes for all of you out there and who wants to see it again, ENJOY!

Roger Federer wins his 7th Wimbledon title

Kobe can you sign my LeBron 9s

A little girl has a Kobe Bryant jersey on but she's ask Kobe to sign her LeBron 9's, isn't that kind off ironic it some way but funny at the same time. Who knows, she probably did have kobe sign her jersey also. But you can also look at like, why would she want to have Kobe's signature on her LeBrons. The whole situation is funny to me.

NBA Fight - Pacers vs Pistons

I will never ever forget this fight. All i could do was stare at the tv like "is this really happening?'

Wow I've never seen this before

Kemba Walker step back is still one of the best

Jordan 7s Olympics

These should be a must have for Jordan and Sneaker heads. I know i will be grabbing these bad fellas when they drop. Oh yea, they will be dropping July 21st 2012, costing $160. Great time to drop them again since its the 20th anniversay off the "DREAM TEAM"

Greatest Fighter Ever!

After watching UFC 148 its hard not to say that Anderson Silva is the G.O.A.T! Nothing worse than fighting a guy that is totally compfortbale fight and thats SILVA hands down. He won the middleweight championship in 2006 defeating Rich Franklin and hasn't looked back since. He's defended his title 10 times now and has only really been challenged once by Sonnen in their first bout and overcame that by submission. In this title defense, he saw himself fall behind in the 1st round but overcame that when he found an opening and took over to win by TKO. Sonnen was the only fighter i saw beating Silva and that was shut down tonight. Only fighter now maybe Jon Jones and hopefully Dana White can make that happen in the future, sooner than later....

Amazing 11 year old athlete

Time for a change

Baseball has really lost its popularity since the 1998 home run race between Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa. Their really struggling to get the ratings up and keep fans interested in the sport, espesically with the younger generation. With the change to the all star game and adding another wild card spot for the playoffs has but their still some ways away. In my opinion they need to reduce the 162 game season to about 125 games, that would make the division races really interesting because that means games would matter a lot sooner than it does now. Also, with young and exciting players like Bryce Harper with the Washington Nationals and Mike Trout with The Los Angeles Angels, that would bring the young audience back.

For all the real NBA fans!

The NBA is in good hands

I got my wish this year in the NBA finals, the best two players going head 2 head for the title. Thats something we never get in any major sport. This Lebron vs KD debate and battle is like our modern day Bird vs Magic debate. The Heat and Thunder could turn into a nice rivalry if both teams keep their teams together with the right pieces there. Just like there was a transition from Kobe to Lebron being the best player in the league, that will be the same thing with Lebron to KD. Everybody goes through those growing pains before they become the best and win championships. Im excited to see how Lebron will respond next season after winning his first championship and how KD will approach this year also. Will he use the heartache of losing the finals as motivation to get even better.

Everything isn't Rose"Y" in Chicago

To me the Bulls have been set back 2-3 years since Rose went down with the ACL injury and the big contracts they have on their books.  There's Rose and a bunch of B- players around him and it showed in the last two years of the playoffs. Everyone believes that the Bulls are good to go because they have  "THE BENCH MOB".  That's all fine and dandy for the regular season but not to win a championship. In the NBA you need stars and play makers to win a championship and you only need your role players to step in about 2-4 games in a playoff run. This was shown in the Spurs vs OKC series as well as the Miami vs OKC finals. With that being said, I'm really torn on what I think the Bulls should do this year. Usually draft picks don't matter after those first 10 picks.  I'm not saying the Bulls should tank the season, but they should want to get a top 10 pick or something.  Maybe get lucky like they did in 2008 and end up with another Rose. On the other side,  I'm not a fan of teams tanking a season to get a high draft pick, but at the same time they don't have any money to really do anything in this years free agency class.  Their best bet is to amnesty Boozer next season to free up some space, find a team or two  to make a 3-team trade with Deng involved. Another idea would be to find some consistent shooters. The best thing they have going for them is that their best player is only 23 years old.  Considering that, they have some time to figure this out but have to be smart about it.  Don't go sign anyone to bad contracts that will have them strapped like they are at this point. All they need is one star/playmaker beside Rose and some players who know their roles. Get this together and in my opinion the Bulls will be good to go! Remember only a handfull of NBA stars win a championship before 25, so my panic meter is only at 3 right now.

Healthy Return

I'm glad to know Roy will be getting an opportunity to make a return to the NBA and to a young up and coming team in the West. I really wouldn't of made any sense for him to sign with the bulls for less money plus Rose and Deng wouldn't being playing for the most of the season. They would of been looking for him to do a lot coming off those knee problems. Signing with Minnesota is good look for him and good way for him to ease himself back in the league.

Aren't they worth the same

Zache Parise and Ryan Suter both wanted to play with each other and the both of them wanted the same contract. Thats what they wanted and thats what the Minnesota Wild gave them. Both of them landed 12 yr/$98 million contracts, which is really a front loaded contract. This sounds awesome and who wouldn't want that contract right? Well Deron Williams resign with the Brooklyn Nets with a contract of 5yr/$98 million. So what do you think? Are NBA players overpaid or is NHL players underpaid???

Nash a good fit for the Lakers?

Steve Nash going to the lakers is for sure an upgrade at the point guard position that the lakers hasn't had since the Nick Van Exel days and some people probably forgot about him also. With that said, Kobe has never really played with a player who is at their best when there controlling to the ball the whole time. People said Lebron and Wade wouldn't work but it did because they wanted a ring and more, so i think with time Nash and kobe will figure it out because their up there in age. Kobe wants that 6th ring and Nash wants his first. To me i still think they need another back up point because Steve blake isn't that guy to me. They will need some more shooters because Gasol and Bynum doesn't stretch the floor enough for Nash to be at his best, the clog the paint. If u have shooters who will stretch the floor and can't just stand in the paint. OKC is still the best team in the West no doubt but the Lakers is defiantly a better and it will be fun to watch!
